Penang New Year Eve.- Fire Cracker

Mostly every years the Eve celebration organise by Penang government will be located in Fort Cornwallis.
We must set up all the camera equipment and get the best place around 11:30PM. A lot of people will gather over there (very pack like sandwich) ...As usual zoom lens 24-105mm f4.0 is the most suitable for this event. Make sure bring along tripod. This is the must, in order capture very slow shutter speed object (fire cracker).
Note: during the shoot don't let anybody touch your tripod, must keep your tripod stand properly and in freezes condition.

 

  

You must come to Penang Island to joint the new year eve and enjoy the shoot....     :8)   ..........

Penang :. Amenian Street Shoot.

Penang Amenian street is one of the heritage area in Penang & most of the Penang street photographer are very well know at this place. A lot of interesting photo you might able to snap over there. Below is my pass experience days & photos that i have been taken and is my pressure to share with you all.

One of the local artist busy on the finalist touch up the oil paint drawing on the "Tua Pek Kong Temple"and at the same time the photos has been captured.
The oil paint drown and the actual temple shown basically is the same..!

This "Red Bacia" very often packed beside of the door entrance and it's belong to the who ......?. and so far no ticket is issued to the owner......>
Joke: The photo shown the "Draogon" spill the water on the roof of the Red Becia.

The old man enjoy the newspaper reading under the small umbrella and the kit doing something to him?

The 3 wheels vehicle under renovation at the middle of the road and going to sell to anybody whom is interested....>

One of the temple building roof in Amenian Street, very meaningful & artistic.

The local antic shop beside of the temple.. it have a lot of antic especially the old grand mum bicycle.....

 Old grand father cycle able to get from here...the mechanism is very robust and everlasting.....

This gentleman early morning warm up by moving the pump level up & down, to pump the air into the back wheel of his vehicle. his action is really unbelievable.....Smile...

The old type of  bicycle still able to function on the road which cycled by the old man and our gentleman still keep pumping the air into the back wheel...one more......two more.... ..
****** Don't forget return the pump to the "Tau Kae"

Penang Hill :. Shoot During The Cable Cars Moving.

This few photos are taken on 12 May 2011 with my senior photographer Khoon Weng & friend : Alex Quah as well. Early morning we meet 6:00AM at that down hill location and successfully get the first ticket to hill by cable car. That day the weather are cloudy and no sunshine, we switch the shooting objective on to the cable car movement. As usual, i will remain using my 24-105mm; f 4.0 walk around lens for this shoot.
Reminder:. Must bring along your tripod ; battery and memory card. We have friend experience forgot to bring the battery and memory card on the shoot.....

*****Early bird must wake up early morning and get the flash air during the journey......:8).....****

Same as usual use slow shutter speed to capture the movement. The old cable car was station over there permanently and the green color bulb lighting as well.

Photo Competition : That Streets & That's Things

Feb. 2010 years joint the photo competition which organize by "Kwang Hwa Jit Poh" and sponsor by Heritage Coffee. The entire event have been submitted 5 photos with size 8R for the competition.
Greatly my 3 photos have been selected in qualifying round which out of 500photos from the entire event.

First time my photo at Penang GSM 2011.

Is my pleasure to have the change joint the Penang GSM years 2011 event and greatness 3 photos have been selected by the committee for the exhibition usage purposes. This photos is taken on 1st  Jan 2011. The surprise is one of the photo had been sold out ( Uncle who selling "la Chi which working first day of the 2011 years")....:
